about

Buckle up as femme fatale Nadia Vaeh takes you for an addicting and
intoxicating ride with her new song and video release,“Promise Not To
Kill You.” Atlanta, CA - Pop star, Nadia Vaeh tells a turbulent tale of sticking through the inevitable sky-high ups and deep dark downs within
relationships in an exciting, fun, and mischievous adventure with
PNTKY’s song and music video with cinema-like visuals are set to release on Friday, January 27, 2023.
Nadia joyfully plays with fire, as she is promising--but not promising all at the same time--not to kill you. PNTKY invites both the angel and the devil on your shoulders to play, inspiring you to grab the wheel for whatever you desire, all while facing the hard-hitting reality that relationships aren’t always a Sunday joyride.
The production on PTNKY evokes a splash of 2000’s pop-punk over a
full-throttle modern pop production that is just as danceable as it is open
freeway driveable. The gripping buildup ignites a wonderfully explosive,
adrenaline-filled conclusion, showcasing her broad portfolio of vocal
capabilities. Nadia’s brilliant vocal harmonies and evocative performance will leave you reaching for that repeat button!
“Leading up to PNTKY, I had been reflecting on my tendency to run away, figuratively and literally, in past relationships during challenging times.
‘Promise Not To Kill You’ is a song about committing to someone(s) while acknowledging that it’s going to come with some chaos and it might not look like a storybook romance.”
The sentiment “Promise Not To Kill You” is meant to symbolize and
represent commitment and endurance through the ups and downs and
the tugs of war in relationships. However, the “promise” has a dark twist,
recognizing that romantic relationships can be volatile.
“Nadia’s music always starts with a relatable narrative that gives words
to a situation or feeling that’s hard to talk about. Her willingness to be
vulnerable with her audience allows us to let our guard down with her.
Then when she has you spilling guts alongside her, we hit you with a
chorus like the one in PNTKY that’s gritty and danceable and gives you a stage to set loose your rock ‘n roll demons for a little exorcise.” -Alex
